The best way to learn Financial Health is through practice. Here’s some reminders of what you’ve committed to yourself to accomplish:
1 Make Sure both the Money-Management Quiz for Kids, and the
Money-Management Quiz for Parents are completed. They are the basis for understanding your children and yourself. It’s where they start down the Road to Financial Fitness.
2 Complete “Your Toy Inventory” of your children’s recreational and educational equipment and toys using the form in this
Workbook. It’s a great way to start fresh and evaluate how effective the purchases for them have been in the past.
3 Give the “Dream Builder” Financial Planner to your Children. Help them become good friends with their Dream Builder and teach them how to make goals, financial plans, keep records, and evaluate their own progress. You can start them on the road to a successful financial
4 future.
Remember, you’re helping your children make life-changing
decisions. Be a good listener and patient as you encourage them to learn these new skills. Your example to them of how you handle your finances will be your best tool.
