Follow these steps to help you master the principles you’ve just learned.
Get to work right away on your personal Spending Plan Worksheet. Complete Steps 1 through 9.
Begin to take your Spending Register with you everywhere and use it to record every expense, no matter how small.
Examine your spending very closely to see what habits you may wish to change.
At the end of each month, use Step 10 on your Worksheet—your Monthly Plan Summary, to review and evaluate your income and expenses. This is
the best way to fine-tune your Plan for the coming months.
Remember you’re making life-changing decisions.
For many people, old money habits have been wealth-destroying habits. Change takes time, good planning, and consistent effort. Use your new money- management tools, and you’ll be successful.
